| CED initiated various training programmes related to Environment and Development, right from its establishment in 1993. The centre has conducted several training programmes in the areas like Remote Sensing and GIS, Water and Sanitation, Water Supply Engineering, Habitat Interiors, Vacation Training Programme for School Children etc. CED is the first institution to start a short term Diploma Course in Remote Sensing and GIS in 1995. The 103rd Batch of the course is ongoing.
